“ First time in the new restaurant, food is as delicious as always, but not a fan of the seating. The tables are too tight, and too small. Service is great , everything was served professionally and efficiently. ”
“ After spending a week in downtown Fort Myers, I can confidently say that the meatball appetizer was the best thing I had during my stay. We came with a large group on a Tuesday night and made sure to have a reservation, which was fine. One of the highlights was being able to see into the kitchen while they were cooking, which added to the experience. The service was really great, and the staff was attentive throughout our meal. For appetizers, the Arancini was excellent, and they were able to accommodate a cheese-free request. The meatballs, as mentioned, were absolutely delicious. We also liked the eggplant appetizer because the breading was really good. For the main courses, we really enjoyed the mushroom truffle risotto. The gnocchi with shrimp was our least favorite since the texture was inconsistent, with some pieces clumped together, making parts of the dish harder than others. We also tried the pork dish with prosciutto inside, which was pretty good. One thing I found surprising was that they didn't serve bread to start. None of our dishes came with bread, so we weren't able to review it. The Valentine's Day martinis with caviar, however, were fantastic. ”

“ All I can say is WOW! Bruno's of Brooklyn is for those who want to experience the epitome of excellence for Italian cuisine. Their new location in Downtown Fort Myers is conveniently accessible and the space is expertly designed to give you a special dining experience. I couldn't even decide what to eat on the menu as there were so many attractive options! So I ordered a handful of appetizers - their famous Meatballs, the Octopus and bone marrow. The meatballs were out of this world, hands down top 3 meatballs I've had as a New York native. Octopus was sizable and cooked to perfection. I also had their tomato basil soup which I'm very glad I ordered, it was creamy & fresh, and the largest portion of soup I've ever been served at a restaurant. My entree was the bone-in Veal Chop Parmesan over pasta and I had to get a box due to the size and the fact that I needed to experience it for lunch the next day. Lastly, I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Owner and mastermind Chef, Cal, about Brooklyn and his dishes. That really topped off the dining experience, and I will 100% be back to try more! Thanks again Cal and staff, don't change! ”
“ First visit to the new location. Very impressed with the restaurant. It looks beautiful inside and out. We used the new Resy app to book our reservation for 4. 2 weeks out and we could only get the outdoor patio. It turned out just fine. Saturday night downtown was hopping so sitting outside added some additional entertainment. Service was outstanding. Major upgrade from the small location. Real wait staff and service runners. Food was very good, we tried the grilled octopus and Artichoke appetizers (fyi food comes as ready, artichoke came 15 min after the octopus, we didn't mind as we were in no rush). For main course we had some specials, seafood primavera and the shrimp with figs. Both were very rich and both were very expensive ($42 for the primavera). Overall prices have gone up in the new location, which have taken it from a "hey lets go to Brunos for dinner" to a special occasion spot. Overall, they did a first class job upgrading the new location. They even left the seating by the open kitchen to watch the chef work his magic. Lastly, now open 7 days a week, 6 nights for dinner and Sunday for Brunch. ”
